Week 4: Rams vs. Seahawks

Following a solid week two victory over the Washington Redskins, the St. Louis Rams played their worst game of the season in a week three loss to the Chicago Bears. The Rams played very well in the first two weeks, but they are now 1-2 and will have to battle the Seahawks for a chance to even their record at 2-2. At the same time, a victory over the Seattle Seahawks will prevent them from creating a greater separation in the NFC West standings. The Seahawks are currently 2-1, after winning a controversial game against the Packers last Monday night, and will be trying to keep pace with the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals. The NFC West has been surprising this season with Cardinals and Seahawks both having winning records and beating quality teams. In order for the Rams to be a position where they can compete in the NFC West, this game is an important game for them to win. The Seahawks have the best ranked defense in the NFL, the Rams will need to get Steven Jackson established in this game, and they will need to contain Russell Wilson and prevent him from making big plays.
