Rattled Rams Come Up Short Against Eagles

On 9/11/2011, the Rams welcomed the Eagles to their stadium with hopes of showing the “Dream Team” that the up and coming Rams are ready to impress the NFL world. The Rams took an early lead by scoring on their first offensive play with a 47 yard touchdown run by Steven Jackson, unfortunately for the Rams, he blew a tire (quad injury) and was only able to get one more carry before having to sit the remainder of the game. Also suffering injuries in the game was Bradford (wrist), and Amendola (elbow). The Eagles turned out to be too fast and athletic on offense for the Rams too keep up with, and the Rams lost the game 13-31.

Fortunately for the Rams, all their injured players have an extra day to get better, they don’t play again until Monday Night Football against the New York Giants, who are also banged up. Stay current with Rams360.com for all updates regarding Rams injuries, news, and opinions.
